I recently returned to Morehead City after a trip to Colorado. What an amazingly beautiful state. I recommend the detour if any are interested. I climbed a fourteener (14,000 + ft. mountain) and I definitely have new respect for individuals that do these types of things on a weekly basis. Hat tip to you. I went to a Colorado Rockies game at Coors Field. What an incredible ballpark and atmosphere. With the close division race, fans were really into the game. Well, after a much needed break, we are ready to start planning for next season.
We recently announced that we have rehired Coach Jay Bergman to lead the Marlins in the 2011 summer season. Buddy Bengel and Coach Bergman have already started the time consuming process of recruiting for next season. Each year about this time, we receive many inquiries from players wanting to play in the league and coaches offering background on potential players that would fit well with our organization. Trying to build a team that has both skill and character is really tough to do. Buddy and Coach Bergman have many relationships with schools around the nation. With that said, we are optimistic that we are going to have a very competitive team in 2011.
