Just over a week ago, the city council voted to extend the use of Big Rock Stadium for the Marlins through the 2011 season. In other words, expect great competition from major Division I and II athletes in the Coastal Plain League for the next two seasons. How exciting is that! I have seen first hand the impact of such a facility in similar areas, and I believe only good things can come out this project.
The newest family-fun entertainment facility in Morehead City is certainly taking shape. The town of Morehead City is working really hard for a May 1st completion date.
